Aren't Community Colleges Two-Year Programs?:

I’m as happy as anyone that Community got a renewal for a fourth season (albeit 13-episodes), but does it bother anyone else that they’ve been at a community college for three years now? Or are community colleges only typically two-year programs in the northeast?

This is a great short video about the sound design on the Avengers. On telling line is that Joss Whedeon said, “We’re doing a super hero movie, but to the extent the studio will let me, I want to make it about this dysfunctional family.”

“Make it about the relationships,” has got to be the most-given note in improv rehearsals. Without relationships it’s just stuff blowing up and no one will really care.

A substantial part of the audience in my theater (admittedly an opening night crowd, 8 PM on Friday) cheered whenever Joss Whedon’s name came on the screen.

I noticed the number 42 crop up a few times in the film. On a license plate, in the lab with Tony and Bruce, probably other places I missed. It may be a coincidence, but whenever that number crops up one has to wonder.

Unrelated to The Avengers: With two over performing films in two months, I hope that Joss has an easier time getting his next film made.

Windows RT is the newest member of the Windows family – also known as Windows on ARM or WOA, as we’ve referred to it previously. This single edition will only be available pre-installed on PCs and tablets powered by ARM processors and will help enable new thin and lightweight form factors with impressive battery life. Windows RT will include touch-optimized desktop versions of the new Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote. For new apps, the focus for Windows RT is development on the new Windows runtime, or WinRT, which we unveiled in September and forms the foundation of a new generation of cloud-enabled, touch-enabled, web-connected apps of all kinds. For more details on WOA, we suggest reading this blog post which shares more detail on how we have been building Windows 8 to run on the ARM architecture.

So, to be clear, Windows RT is Windows on ARM or WOA. Windows RT focuses on development for Windows runtime, or WinRT, which is, presumably, different from Windows RT, also known as Windows on Arm, also known as WOA. On the plus side, there are now only three versions of Windows.
